In the mid 2000's Import X was a badass TV show that saw 2 dudes travel across New Zealand in search of the communities that made up the modified performance car scene and the people living the modified Import car lifestyle. Their adventures saw them get amongst street level car meets, drifting & drag racing events to all the biggest & best car shows where the Import car reigned supreme.20 years on, in 2024, we are a little older (ok... a lot older) and the quest to revisit their past shows, people & cars, hopes to inform them of the present-day scene while looking to the future of car culture in New Zealand and across the world.
